Flocknote

Our Diocese has purchased an app and we were invited to join at no cost to our parishes.  It's a way to communicate with our parishioners, through email or text, in a very efficient way. The app is associated with Bishop Barron's Word on Fire.  The term Flocknote comes from shepherding our flock, for Christ.

Wouldn't it be great if we could send out a text message to all our parishioners about changes in our schedule (no Mass due to a blizzard!), or if you could email the members of your group about upcoming meetings, or let your Adoration group know that the hours are extended?  There are many ways in which this will help our Community.

We have added some parishioners already.  If you would like to join us in this exciting new way to communicate with our Baraga County Catholic Community, there are two options:
  • You can text 'BCCC' to 84576.  You will receive a text back with a link to click on to complete the process.
  • You can fill out the short form on the Home page of this website.
If you are the leader of a group or ministry, you can access the app to send messages to your group:
Once you're in the app, you'll be able to join groups and be able to communicate within that group.

We have a lot to learn about what we can do with this, but we need to build a database of parishioner's cell phone numbers and email addresses for this to work.

Any questions, call Karen at the Parish Office, 524-6424.
