You are invited and encouraged to attend an exciting Diocesan workshop event at St. Peter Cathedral on September 21, 2019! We will be hosting Benjamin LaPrairie, who will give a presentation on liturgy as a means of evangelization. A native of Michigan and a previous guest artist at the Pine Mountain Music Festival, Ben now serves as the Associate Director at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., the national and patronal church of the United States. His talk will discuss how “inspired liturgy leads to a transformation, deepening and awakening one’s faith” and how to be “agents of such transformation.” There will be much to take away from this talk for all ministries…not just liturgy and music.

To find out more, please feel free to visit https://benjaminlaprairie.com/ and watch this short video introducing the National Shrine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQD_rEKqu3o. His recital at the Cathedral will be on Friday, September 20th at 7:30 pm with the workshop following on Saturday, September 21st at 10 am. All are welcome!
